GAA plays a very important role in our school. Every year children take part in Sciath na Scol competitions. They play Gaelic football, hurling and camogie. They participate in fun blitzes, as well as interschool competitions. We have had great success over the years making it to finals in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. We are so fortunate to have such amazing facilities in our community. St. Vincent’s GAA are always willing to offer their ground for training and matches. Gurranabraher Credit Union have also sponsored our jerseys.

Tommy Collins from St. Vincent’s GAA attends the school every week. He is a fantastic coach who helps the children to learn the basics skills of GAA. The children really enjoy the coaching and love the different games Tommy has to offer!
