In Strawberry Hill we have embraced the New Primary Language Curriculum. Our class libraries have been stocked up with wonderfully diverse book thanks to very generous donations from Children’s Books Ireland. Strawberry Hill is a Reading Recovery Accredited School with two reading recovery teachers working with our pupils. Our classrooms have a wonderful library of PM readers for Literacy Lift Off. We do a lot of station teaching and Aistear in the junior classes which helps promote oral language and vocabulary development.

Happy Talk Programme – Delivered by Speech & Language Therapists

The Happy Talk Programme is a fun and engaging way to support your child’s speech and language development. Through playful activities, stories, songs, and games, children learn to express themselves clearly, build confidence in talking, and develop important listening and communication skills. The programme is designed to make learning enjoyable, helping children gain the tools they need to communicate effectively both at home and in school.
